communist hat

i have this hat. it looks like a communist hat. i did not realize this until nicole looked at me wearing it and said, "you look cute. like a communist."

so i wasn't that surprised when i put it on yesterday and my dad said in chinese, "why do you have a communist hat?"

i was surprised, however, when my dad proceeded to take out a furry black cap and put it on his head.

"what about you?" i said. "you look like stalin."

and then we went to cresskill high school's christmas concert.

i like hats.
